Ben, thanks as always for your blogs.

Can I ask what lines you would have iced tonight being that you questioned Trotz’s lineup? Thx.

Thanks for reading again. Really do appreciate it. If those were the 12 forwards, I'd be going:

Lee - Barzal - Bailey
Beauvillier - Nelson - Wahlstrom
Dal Colle - Brassard - Kuhnhackl
Martin - Komarov - Clutterbuck

Pelech - Pulock
Toews - Mayfield
Leddy - Dobson

Reasoning: The big change I have here is Bailey and Kuhnhackl swapping lines. Bailey may not show up every night but I'm taking my chances on him over Kuhnhackl. Again, I don't dislike Kuhnhackl but he can't drive anywhere near enough offense. Playing top-six can't simply be about trying not to get scored on- they'll be counted on to drive the bulk of the offense and his advanced stats back up, on a larger sample size dating back to Pittsburgh, that he's not able to.

I'd have Dal Colle on the third and Wahlstrom on the second just to keep each on their natural wing. Dobson in for Boychuk, Martin in for Johnston.

One goal is lucky with the horrendous puck management by the Islanders

Thanks for confirming Ryan.

Yup agreed.
Last year they just made the right play, the simple play with the least risk of turnovers on either blue line. This year so far it’s hard to watch.

Wahlstrom looks great. Wish I could say the same about the Yankees, but Wahlstrom has done nothing but impress so far.
